Privacy notice
This website is deliberately lean: it runs on its own server in Germany, sets no cookies, embeds no analytics or tracking services, loads no fonts, maps, videos or buttons from third-party servers and builds no profiles. That is why there is no consent banner. Only data that is unavoidable for operating the site and for your enquiry is processed.

2. Hosting and access data
The website runs on a dedicated server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in its Nuremberg data centre. No data is transferred to countries outside the European Union. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner.
When the site is requested, the server processes technically necessary access data: IP address, date and time, the address requested, status code and volume transferred, referring page, browser and operating system. The purpose is delivery of the page and defence against attacks; the legal basis is the legitimate interest in secure and uninterrupted operation, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The web server of this site keeps no access logs; where the upstream server handling encryption and routing keeps technical logs, they are deleted after 14 days at the latest. No visitor statistics are compiled.
3. Contact form
I process the details you enter in the form to respond to your enquiry. They are processed on my server and delivered to me by email via IONOS. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for enquiries about an engagement, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
4. Contact by email
If you write to the address above, I process your details to handle the matter. The mailbox is hosted by IONOS (see section 6). The legal bases are Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR.
5. Retention
Technical logs are deleted after 14 days at the latest. Enquiries are deleted once they have been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply. If an enquiry leads to an engagement, the commercial and tax retention periods of six and ten years apply.
6. Recipients
The only recipients are the processors named above: Hetzner for operating the server and IONOS for sending email and hosting the mailbox, both processing data in Germany. Beyond that, your data is passed on only with your consent or where I am legally obliged to do so.

The competent authority for the company's seat is the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Postfach 3163, 65021 Wiesbaden, Germany. You may also contact the authority of your place of residence.
8. No automated decision-making
No automated decision-making including profiling under Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
9. Changes
I update this notice whenever the processing described here changes. The version published here is the one that applies.
